This site is built and maintained by the Parnassus Group, a social media consultancy based in Woodinville, WA. We specialize in blogosphere engagement and analysis, social media strategy and online community building.

What is this site?
Every day, bloggers write about topics relevant to your organization. Maybe they had a terrible experience calling your support lines. Maybe they have some insight into what your competition is doing wrong. Maybe they’re encouraging their readers to support your opponent in the primaries. Or maybe they’ve come up with a great feature that you really should include in the next version of your product.
Any way you slice it, it’s all very valuable feedback. Being able to see and respond to the online conversation quickly can make a huge difference in how your organization relates to its stakeholders.
The problem is that for each good post written by a real human, there are 20 spam blogs and 10 posts that are neutral or ambivalent. Sorting through all of that information to get to the truly valuable content requires a lot of time and attention.
Imagine if you had a dashboard that made it much easier to keep your eye on the buzz, automatically filtering for spam and categorizing each post for sentiment with over 95% accuracy.
That’s what this site is.
We have built this site as a proof of concept for our SentimineTM technology. Sentimine is a powerful tracking system that can be adapted for multiple purposes. On this site, we are using Sentimine to monitor the blogosphere for posts that mention both the Apple iPhone and the Verizon LG Voyager. It then analyzes the posts - NOT the comments - to see if the post favored one product over the other, or if neither product was preferred.
Sentimine can also be used to track sentiment about a single product, service, or any other term you choose. Posts can be categorized as positive, negative or neutral.
